Welcome!

As a counselor and credentialed English teacher, I enjoy helping every student work towards graduation. Through our face-to-case weekly classes, I support growth in writing and comprehension/analytical skills. Students have freedom to explore unit content independently over the week, however, they can always access staff for support. Although scheduling is unique for each student, the pillars of our program remain the same: specifically weekly progress in curriculum, attendance of face-to-face classes, and checkout.

It is during checkout where student progress is reviewed. I complete graduation checks for each student at multiple points during the year and often discuss status during checkouts. Here, students can also request specific supports, schedule a meeting with our District College and Career Counselor, or with our on-site El Camino Advisor.

I love coming in everyday to work with students that are motivated and enjoy working in an independent, unique setting.
